After 11 books it's still brand new. Never gets old, it isn't repetative, and there is always lots of action. She finds a new way to challenge the characters in each novel and I don't want it to end. I don't think 15 books is enough to get it all out. Or at least, I hope its not and she decides to write more.

One of the things I love the most about this series is that in every book there is a ton of action and suspense. New problems are always arising and things never seem to calm down in Morganville. In this book, vampires are missing and rebels are actually not being blamed.

There were some new POV’s included in this book, which I really enjoyed! Usually we experience things from only one character, but this book we get a direct look into Claire, Shane, Amelie, Eve and Michael’s heads. I hope that this trend continues into the next book because it was nice to see each character’s inner struggles and it helped me to connect with each of the characters.

Like always, Rachel’s world-building is fantastic and I think this series just keeps getting better and better. There was a huge surprise thrown in this book that I didn’t see coming at all! One of the best things about this series is, is that it is completely unpredictable. Rachel puts a ton of emotion into each of her characters and all of the hard work she puts in really shines in each book. Not only that, but I love the themes that ran through this book. It has a little something for everyone: love, fear, betrayal, and loss. But above all of that, there is hope. Always and forever hope in each of these books, which is why I keep coming back for more.

Brilliantly done, if you are a fan of this series, this is another must-read! If you haven’t read the first 10 books yet, what are you waiting for? You will not be disappointed!
