I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower when my friend bought it for my birthday. I read the entire book in one sitting, and was never the same again. This emotionally raw and brutally honest book has made such a difference in my life. It is the story of 15 year old Charlie, an adolescent dealing with the highs and lows of his life. He is a shy yet brilliant young man with an amazing capacity for affection and compassion. I cried and laughed through the entire story. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It is a little graphic though, so I wouldn't recommend children to read it. Teenagers deinitely, adults most certainly! Parents- do you want to really know what on earth is going on with your teens? This will help you understand the horror that can be adolescence. The writing is brilliantly blunt and simple, creating something that is so real and familiar to the reader. I loved this book, and find myself reading over and over again. It's definitely worth your time!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of the best books ever because it is so interseting that it makes you want to keep reading and never put the book down. It also makes your mind wonder and think about different things.

I bought this book for my boyfriend for a christmas gift. he liked it so much, so i asked if i could borrow it haha. It is so much better than The catcher in the rye. This book is about a boy who is a "wallflower" and he meets some new friends and he basically observes everything around him. It is funny, sad and very realistic. Im sure everyone can relate to the main character at some point. It is a definately a must read.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a real page turner. Its writtin in Dear Friend type book, and it sort of like a journal. Its about a boy named Charlie. Charlie is dreamer who is not sure about life. His best friend Michael commited suicide, leaving Charlie friendless. He meets 2 seniors, who become his bestfriends. Throughtout the story, theirs drugs, sex, and very mouthdropping events.

You'll love this story, and you'll keep on wanting more and more. 10 stars out of 5 starts :)
