The Princess and the (Greedy) Pea is the perfect mashup of The Princess and the Pea and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. This was such a fun book and the repeated phrases will help a young child read right along with their grown-up. The different ways to describe eating were very clever, I particularly giggled at the pea when he noshed the Jelly. This was a silly way of expanding vocabulary that is sure to have your child reading this book repeatedly. The ending is tied to the Princess and the Pea who is now grumpy in her lumpy bed and hungry but finds a way to solve her problem is cute. Overall, this is such a fun read with the illustrations, text font, and the story working in perfect harmony.
