In this installment of Mia's diary, all she is hoping for is for Michael to ask her to Prom. Michael doesn't share Mia's views on the Prom and she is disappointed, to say the least.

Mia's best friend, Lilly, is once again out to petition a cause. This time for the rehiring and fair treatment of a busboy named Jangbu. I have to say that Lilly continues to get more annoying to me as the series goes on. She is very selfish and doesn't seem like a true best friend to Mia. Mia finally starts standing up to her, and for that I'm glad. It just doesn't seem like Mia and Lilly have that true best friend relationship anymore.

I'm happy to say that Mia finally gets her wish, as well as a new family member that enters the picture in a dramatic fashion.

This book includes a game of seven minutes in heaven and some discussion of "bases," so it may not be for the younger readers of this series. Overall, I enjoyed it and will continue to read the series.
