Helen Thermopolis is pregnant. With who you might ask? A baby? Certainly. But, yes…. Mr. Gianini, Mia’s algebra teacher. No, they aren’t married, but is that something new for Ms. T? Now what? They are getting married. On what holiday? Halloween. Who will be moving into the apartment? And, who is still getting a D in his class?


Soon, Mia’s Grandmere and father plan her an interview on a high-rated news show. Who messes it up? Now, Shameeka’s parents want her at a new school. Lilly’s angry about the social divisions Mia talked about in the interview. Plus, she was granted rights to the first interview with Mia! And, what about those love letters? Princess in the Spotlight was a good sequel to The Princess Diaries. I enjoyed Lilly and Hank’s escapades, the formal wedding, and Mia’s countless math problems (solving them!). If you are a girl and 12 and up, you’ll love this story!
