Review Detail

I have to admit, it took me a while to get into this one. The characters seemed to me to be overly flawed, but as the story went on you could see why they were depicted in this way. Despite this, I found it hard to relate to the main character, Mikey, as I found him a bit annoying. I also found the story was slow and I would much rather have read about what the Indie kids were up to :-)

As the book went on, I got a lot more engaged, and ended up enjoying it overall though, so a real mixed bag!
