Review Detail

I loved everything about this book. The illustrations are wonderful--just childish enough to engage a preschooler's imagination. The story itself brings to mind a young Anne Shirley or perhaps a young Ramona Quimby. It's the perfect tale of a girl's pretend pets and how the strength of her imagination gives them life. Every single page rang true, and I believe this will quickly become a favorite on many a bookshelf. I highly recommend it.
