The Sun Never Hurries is about a girl and her grandpa taking the time to enjoy the day. Instead of rushing to go off and have fun they walk hand in hand and enjoy the beauty of nature around them and let that be as much about the journey as the destination. The sparkly yellow glow in the illustrations lends itself to the idyllic gentle tone of the story. In a world where we rush and play hard, it is a nice reminder to see what you miss around you that can bring joy as well. Overall, this is a lovely gentle story between a grandfather and child perfect for a bedtime read and snuggle.
