What I liked:
What would you do if you were learning to swim for the first time and when you entered the water, you turned into a mermaid? That is precisely what happens to our character, Emily Windsnap, and as a result, she will find the truth about where her father is and more about who she is a half-human, half-mermaid. Emily eventually makes friends with a mermaid, and her father is being held in prison by the king of the mermaids. Now, her task is to get her mom to remember and to get her family back together at all costs.
Final Verdict:
Middle-grade readers will read this book and learn about overcoming obstacles, blocking bullies, and loving loyalty—the power of love and the quest for justice takeover in this captivating mermaid tale.
