As my children and I sat down to read this book, giggles erupted upon the reading of the first page and the warning to beware the big, bad pig. The story draws you in immediately as the author sets about to twist everything you expect from this familiar story and leave you wanting more with each turn of the page. The pig resorts to sledgehammers and pneumatic drills to blow these houses down. The watercolor illustrations blend perfectly with the story adding to the humor. After we finished, the kids begged for me to read it to them again.
