With gorgeously redesigned covers and the original black and white interior illustrations by Ernest Shepard, these beautiful editions of the four Winnie-the-Pooh books by A.A. Milne are now together in a collectible hardcover boxed set—sure to delight new and old fans alike!

Explore the Hundred Acre Wood with everyone’s favorite bear-of-very-little-brain, Winnie-the-Pooh!

In Winnie-the-Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner, meet Pooh, Christopher Robin, and the other residents of the forest, including the timid Piglet, the downcast Eeyore, the impatient Rabbit, the loquacious Owl, the always bouncing Tigger, and newcomers Kanga and Roo. In each chapter they have a new adventure, from searching for honey or celebrating birthdays to hunting Heffalumps or navigating new friendships.

Rounding out the collection are two books of children’s poetry: When We Were Very Young—in which we meet Mr. Edward Bear, the character that inspired Winnie-the-Pooh—and Now We Are Six, in which Pooh and Christopher Robin make frequent appearances. These playful and imaginative verses explore the joys and pains of growing up, the antics of peculiar characters, quiet afternoons in nature, memorable animal friends, and more.

This charming hardcover boxed set includes:
Winnie-the-Pooh
The House at Pooh Corner

The Winnie-the-Pooh Collection (Boxed Set) contains 4 books, which are: Winnie-the-Pooh; The House at Pooh Corner; When We Were Very Young; and Now We Are Six. Two of the books take you through the adventures of Pooh and his friends, and the other two are a collection of poetry that came before Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin were created. There is a suggested order for the books included on the back yet I find that the books make sense in whichever order you choose to read them.

What I liked: I grew up watching Winnie the Pooh movies and shorts all day with my family so it was nostalgic to visit these stories in another format. I love the way that stories are told with someone retelling Christopher Robbin and all these adventures that he went on with Pooh and his friends. This style of writing makes it feel like the person you are reading to is a part of the story and going on these adventures too.

I appreciate how each story is separated into chapters therefore they are easy to read with children at bedtime. I also like how this includes the images in it which makes the stories come to life. I love the different ways each character speaks and how their speech patterns differentiate them.

I appreciated that the poems could be read separately from each other or they could be read together to tell a larger story. I loved each of the images that are included throughout the pages and feel that they give the poems a soft touch.

Final Verdict: The Winnie the Pooh Collection is a great set of books that both children and adults can enjoy time after time. Each book is unique and has various stories to tell and can be enjoyed separately from the others.
