As Thanksgiving draws near, who do you suspect might be the most worried critter on the farm? You guessed it: Thelonius Turkey is not exactly looking forward to Gobble Day, especially since Felicia is really feeding him up. She's also plucking some feathers from him (he's sure it's so she can watch as he fattens up).
Thelonius, however, has some tricks up his, uh, claw. This turkey's not going down without a fight! He enlists his farm buddies, who play some pretty funny tricks on Felicia. But Felicia is undeterred by milk showers and goose pinchings. She keeps on feeding and plucking Felonius.
Finally, the day before T-day arrives. Felicia loads Thelonius up. He's sure he's headed for the chopping block, but instead he discovers how valuable he is to Felicia--and it all ends very happily with a vegetarian feast.
The wild and zany pictures are a huge treat, and you even get a side dish of "Thelonius's Thanksgiving Recipes" to add to the delish tale!
