I love short story anthologies. So when I heard that there was a collection of YA shorts by some of my favorite authors, I couldn't wait to get a copy!

What works: There's so much to love about this collection. Each story has it's own take on the popular teen love triangle. Not all are the typical story either.

Here's some of my favorites:

DREAD SOUTH by Justina Ireland gives readers a taste of her upcoming novel with a twist on the Civil War theme, only in this case there's zombies! Let's just say I can't wait for her book DREAD NATION!

OMEGA SHIP by Rae Carson shows what happens when two guys and a girl survive a space ship crash with the last of humanity. Really loved the twist at the end.

WAITING by Sabaa Tahir has a girl questioning which boy is best for her. The boy who would be the best bet or the one who stole her heart and made a huge mistake.

VEGA by Brenna Yovanoff is a haunting tale of how the city Los Vegas might take over a person and divide two people apart. Though in this case, the girl might not know it until it's too late.

LESSONS FOR BEGINNERS by Julie Murphy is about a 'skilled' kisser who sells her services and the one client that awakens her to new possibilities.

CASS, AN, AND DRA by Natalie C. Parker is about the choices that are on one's path and the courage to seize the one that calls out to you.

There's more stories too. Some are humorous. Others haunting. All great short stories that tackle the theme of teen love triangles. A must read for fans of short story anthologies and for those who love great storytelling.
Good Points
