An exciting and enjoyable adventurous experience for children
‘Time Sailors of Pizzolungo’ written by Scott Abrams and Adam Blockton is an exciting adventurous book that follows group of six young friends while they accidentally embark on a great journey back in time all the way back to the Age of Exploration.
The story full of references to historical characters, pirates and explorers we all loved to read when were young will have appeal on children between 8 and 14 years offering them chance to join this group of kids in their adventures, still leaving an open end for their exciting journey to be continued.
And though written for the younger school children given the similarity to books from own childhood, I was able to fully enjoy it given the great pace, nice vocabulary and excellent style, in general, used during writing of this book.
Therefore, ‘Time Sailors of Pizzolungo’, is a novel that will be a great escape to the world now long gone, not hard to imagine being made into exciting movie, full of riddles and exciting events while six adventurers are learning where they are and how to return home.
Therefore, cooperation of Scott Abrams and Adam Blockton, two childhood friends from Larchmont, NY, who worked together first as members of school rock band, then as co-authors of screenplay with this literary joint work created an exciting and enjoyable adventurous experience for children which left enough space for future, highly anticipated and hopefully coming sequels.
