Torn is about Alice King and her best friend Cass who take a trip out into the Scottish wilderness. This trip of a lifetime, changes their lives forever, but not in a good way. A practical joke for revenge much needed goes terribly wrong, and destroys the lives who in were in it.

This story is truly haunting, because what happens to the girls in the story seems all so very possible. A joke like this could go very wrong, and end with people dying. This book has taught me to watch my actions, because they could truly destroy lives of those around me.

I think that this book should of not started after the event, but just before it, so you could guess what would happen, I enjoy doing this. The author did it in a way that Alice was remembering, but the story could of worked better like this. And maybe the holiday could of had a bit more detail, because I really enjoyed that part.

Torn is a thriller not to be missed, it is haunting and hallowing and will take you breath with the suspense and the amazing plot.
