I really liked that this book of poetry not only focused on trees, and those that depend on trees, but different seasons, settings, and landscapes.
There is a lot of information in the haikus, I especially enjoyed the one about the inside of trees.
I wasn't as thrilled with the actual haikus themselves, there was just something missing for me. I did, however, like all the information provided at the end of the book. There you can learn more about seeds, different types of forests, and of course a glossary.

The illustrations are nice. The compliment the haikus wonderfully.

I can see myself using this book for lessons on haiku poetry, as well as different sciences lessons!
