This is Bella and Edwards story and it is intense and drags you in almost from the start. Bella notices Edward when she moves from her mom's home in "Sunnyville" to her dads home in Forks. She has always been miserable in Forks, it's wet and rainy. The move seems to be based on her moms unsteadiness and her moms new husband. Bella is pretty much entranced with Edward before she even realizes it and she finds herself wondering about him and her brothers and sisters, who all keep very much to themselves. Much to Bella, and every other kid in school's, surprise, Edward takes an interest in Bella and they become close. Close enough for Edward to be honest with Bella about who he is. What follows is an intense love song/story that makes you yearn for it yourself, almost... The obstacles presented between a human and vampire are believable and not written in a tacky way. Edward is very protective of Bella, even from himself and it is sweet in a dangerous sort of way. Very memorable characters and very memorable story. Both Edward and Bella have to give a little of themselves to the other side to be with eachother, and it's an amazing thing to give and receive.
