I found this book to be fascinating. It was quite unusual to find a vampire teen novel that still could retain a human outlook. The concept was quite fresh and new. Though he was a fictional character, I fell in love with Edward.
Bella's thought process during the course the book was very easy to relate to. The whole novel was very sensual, though Bella and Edward kissed a few times. The suspense killed me while I was reading.
I would recommend this book to everyone who loves something a little less ordinary. Stephenie Meyer's writing was a pure stroke of genius.

Well, Twilight is about a teenage girl who goes to live with her dad for a few months in a town she hates. On her first day of school she sees a boy who just fascinates her, but it seems that he instantly hates her. She becomes infatuated with him and tries to discover waht he is hiding, but in the process falls in love with him. Finally he tells her he is a vampire.
This is one of the best books I have ever read. Stephenie Meyer, the author, described the characters so well and made them seem so real that I just couldn't stop reading. At some point I actually thought these characters were real. I think this is a great book for teenage girls, mostly.

Another book that is impossible to put down once it's opened. The story of Bella and Edward immediately grabs your attention and doesn't let go, even after the book's last words. After reading this book, the only thought in my head was: "Sequel! Sequel, now!" and a sequal there shall be!
Stephenie Meyer is an exceptional author and she's gotten off to the greatest of starts with the publication of Twilight.
In layman's terms: I loved it! Can't get enough of it!

Twilight is one of those rare books that you jut can't put down till you've finished it comletly. I read Twilight about 2 weeks ago and I'm still in shock that there's a book out there that's so wonderful. It has romance and suspence as well. You think something is going to happen, but something twice as exiting happens. Romeo and Juliet is a legend. Everyone knows it. And I think...no I KNOW that Twilight will do even better. It will become a superbestseller in a couple of years. All I can say is Read it. Because if you don't then you'll never now what a great book you've been missing. Also read New Moon- its' sequal. Wow! I'm totally speechless. I don't know what to say more. The words I wrot up there don't even dscribe 1/1000000 of how much I love this book. Just read it and find out for yourself. Edward and Bella will take you into a world of romance, suspence, trust and a lot more.

After her mother remarries, Bella moves with her dad to a gloomy town of Froks which she happens to hate. On her first day at school she experiences sudden popularity. everyone seems to know her which is a result of living in a small town.
At luch she notices a table full of extremely beautiful people and later learns that they do not talk to anyone. This seems odd to her especially when one of them, Edward, starts to stare at her. This makes her feel uncomfortable.
But then Edward who happens to be her biology partner seems distant and looks like he hates her. he disapears for a week and then comes back and acts warm and kind towards her. This along with other few weird incidents causes Bella to wonder who or what is Edward. why does he seem to try to distance himself from her yet want to be close to her.
Throughout the book Bella finds out that Edward and his family are vampires. He tries to get away from her for her own saftey but their growing love for each other gets in the way with that. Bella soon finds herself in danger of this evil vampire who wants to kill her. Edward will stop at nothing to keep Bella safe even if it means that he must die for her.
Bella will not let the love of her life and his family die just because of her so she decides to sacrifice herself. What will happen next?
Everyone should read it. The book leaves you guessing what wil happen next. thank goodness there is a sequel!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought for sure I'd have gotten bored with it because it's 500 pages long, but surprisingly I wasn't. It was an interesting, romantic, intense love story between Bella and Edward. The ending was a cliff-hanger, so it left me wanting more.
Stephenie Meyer has got talent. She has a way of writing that just pulls and sucks you in to their world. The tension (sexual and otherwise) she creates between the two just adds so much to it. She is a GREAT writer. My new fave.
I can't wait to read the sequel!

Stephanie Meyer's thrilling, thought-provoking novel, Twilight is a tantalizing tale of temptation, trust and teenage turmoil -a romance with a terrifying twist. The story unfolds as Isabella Swan moves to the perpetually rainy Forksa setting which captures the novel's foreboding moodwhere she encounters the mysterious, pale, but alluring Edward Cullen, who possesses supernatural gifts and secrets, like his true identity, a tamed vampire.
Similarly, Twilight possesses a suspenseful, inventive plot with thrills and chills to keep the reader riveted till the abrupt, but effective ending. When Bella asks Edward to transform her into a vampire, he concludes the book by leaning toward her, (Meyer 498), leaving the reader thirsty to learn more about the cleverly-crafted characters.
Meyer's goal to create a realistic, complex character who could make the fantasy in Twilight believable, has been surpassed--a narrative-- Bella's poignant voice, romantic dilemmas and clumsiness is the foundation of the novel. A coming-of-age story, Twilight chronicles Bella's transformation from a cautious observer to a daring protagonist; taking charge when rescuing her mother single-handedly (378).
Meyers characters are contrasted by exaggerating their human and inhuman qualities. When asked to dance, Bella replies, Dancing is glaringly outside my range of abilities(467). Bella's flaws; clumsiness, recklessness add a real quality to her while Edward's unnerving perfection is pronounced and at times unbelivable. For instance, Bella describes him as, "A breathtaking carving of Adonis perched on my faded couch" (247).
The dialogue is succinct; maintaing interest, revealing the characters feelings. How can you bear to be with me? Bella asks Edward, demonstrating Bellas uncertainty about their relationship. He answers, Mind over matter, (145), showing Edwards strength to resist temptation.
Edward faces conflict; he loves Bella, he also thirsts for her blood. He constantly tries to shut her out because of his potential threat towards her, "'I'm not worth it," he tells her (497).
Meyer leaves her own imprint on the genre; with an eloquent style, masterful imagery, her vampires are equipped with powers that confirm and contradict traditional vampire lore. Twilight is a deliciously dark and delectably dreamy novel; a gripping blend of romance and horror that fans of both genres will devour.

I started reading the book at school because one of my friends was borrowing it from a girl because she was going to read it. And it looked interesting and i read the first 5 pages or so and i wanted to finish it.So when my friend finishes reading the book she told me it was so awsome that i had to read itand so i did.Ididint want to finish it because i didint wanted to be separated from the book it was like an obsesion i tell you!
the way Bella described Eduard made me fall in love with him(and I dont think I was the only girl in that situation).there were sometimes i wished i was Bella really!
Twilight is a combination of romance suspence and it haves a little comedy i laugh once in a while especialy the time Bella asked Eduard"do you have multiple personality disorder?"
I give thanks to S.Meyer for having that dream and for sharing it with the world.
