!!!!! I never wanted this book to end! i wish that stephanie would have made this series last forever. i dont know how her version of a vampire love story became such a hit among teens and tweens but she made an awesome set of characters and made you want to read about them forever. she must be living large right now because her books were freaking fantastic!!

This was the first book i ever read by this author i bought it beacuse of all the hype about the movie that came out recently. Love the whole book. I used to live near forks Washington years ago so I know the area. I was able visualize the whole thing. Bell was the first to grab me i know what is like to be the new kid tryoing to fit in to a childhood place you visted as a teen age. I was so torn beween wanting her to be with Edward and being with Jacob. the book had me all the way though a most read for anyone who loves stories about vampires and love stories this one has it all love suspense and a good cry. Even the boys love it they can imaginae what it would be like to be Edward and Edwar is so sesitive it oulls you right in.

In Twilight, Bella Swan moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her chief-of-police father in Forks, Washington, one of the rainiest places in the United States.  Bella expects the move to Forks to be extremely boring.  Could she be more wrong?

Bella becomes intrigued by a family with the surname Cullen.  They are adopted, but they all favor one another with their pale skin.  They also miss school when the sun shines and only associate with each other.  She is particularly attracted to Edward Cullen, which is ironic because he is also painfully drawn to her, or at least to the smell of her blood.

Through the book, Bella is described as a magnet for danger.  This statement's truthfulness manifests itself over and over.  Not only has she managed to fall in love with a vampire, but it happens to be the one vampire that wants more than anything to kill her.  That is, until he falls in love with her, too, and devotes all of his time to watch his fragile human and protect her from all of the perils of mortality, which he soon finds is a full time job when Bella finds her life threatened in every way possible.

Overall, I thought this was one of the greatest books I have ever read.  I love to read, and I broke my ultimate rule of always reading the book before watching the movie because I did not think I would be interested in books about vampires.  I liked the movie so much, that I read the book and the next three books in the series within the next two weeks.  I fell in love with the characters of Bella and Edward, and it even made me, a vampire novel skeptic, wish that the world of vampirical teen romance truly existed.

This is also the only series of books that has compared to the Harry Potter series for me (and many others).  Even though the themes of these books are not related, they share the addicting and captivating qualities of creating unique worlds with secrets intwined throughout the entire story.  However, this book covers multiple themes.  I would recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of Harry Potter books, general vampire books, any kind of teen "chick lit" books, or romance books in general.

What can I say about Twilight.....well it's a fantastic read if you like vampire books. Twilight is about a girl name Bella who moves to a town called Forks where she lives with her dad Charlie. She meets this guy Edward who at firsts acts like he can't stand her, she realizes theres something different about Edward.Bella almost got hit by a car, but out of nowhere Edward saved her. Thats when Bella realized that he must have some type of power. She researched what he might be on the internet, and asked if he was a vampire. They fall in love with each other pretty quickly. They never even asked each other out. It's like the were just meant to be. Towards the end of the book I started to realize that it seemed like he never really let her breathe in the realationship. He seemed like he was obsessed with her. Theres another love interest for Bella and his name is Jacob. Jacob is bit younger than Bella but he seem more real to me than Edward, Edward gives in to whatever she wants. Jacob just seems real like a person you would know. Jacob has feelings for Bella, but Bella likes Edward. I also don't like how sometime Bella acts kind of whiny. But overall it's a great book!!

About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him and I didnt know how dominant that part might be that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him (Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, 2005). The New York Times Bestseller, Twilight, keeps readers thirsty for more! Stephanie Meyer uses descriptive words, which allows reader's to imagine every little thing. Although sometimes it can become a repeating, I mostly look at her adjective and adverb use as a way to make the book more interesting and original.
When Bella Swan decides to leave her sunny home in Phoenix to Forks, WA, a place with constant rain and humid weather, she would have never expected to meet Edward Cullen. On the first day of school, Bella meets Edward, a student who acts as though he is repulsed by her, and his family. Despite their beauty and good looks, they were seen as unpopular and strange. Bella questions herself as to why Edward is being so hostile towards her when they just met. What she doesnt know is that he is trying to resist the powerful scent of her blood. When Edward courageously saves Bella from a dangerous accident, she starts to realize that he has some sort of powers and although Edward doesnt reveal his true identity, he begins to develop a relationship with Bella. Hopelessly in love, Bella chooses to ignore the constant warnings given by Edward that he is a dangerous and bad monster. Through the intriguing clues, she discovers that his warnings were real and that he and his family were vampires, but not the stereotypical kind. Bella soon finds herself trying to run away from a vicious and threatening enemy who is on the hunt for her. Will Edward and his family of powerful vampires be able to save her? To find out, read the book; it will surely amaze you.
If you are expecting the usual violent vampire book, this wont be the book for you. Of course it does have its violence and even comedy, but it mostly rotates around the romance between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. I think Twilight is a must-read for teens and adults who are eager for a strange and unusual romance between an overprotective vampire and a clumsy human. From when you first start the book to when you have finished, you feel like you are a part of the book and like you know the characters as though they are family. You laugh when its funny, you  get angry when Bella does something stupid and you desperately wish you were as lucky as Bella Swan. Overall I give this book a rating of 5/5 for its amazing ability to suck you in.
