OMG! WOW! Thats the only way to describe this book, I usually only read a book once but I've read this book twice and I've read the epilogue ten times, no joke! It's a pretty big book but it flies by, you wish it was longer, this is definately the best book ever, after I read it I was going crazy waiting for the next one to come in at our library. If you like vampires, no, LOVE vampires you need to read this book. If you hate all vampires you still need to read this book, because you'll fall in love with the Cullens (mostly Edward). When you read it you feel like you're Bella when you're meeting the Cullens, it feels like you're actually there. Stephenie Meyer is definately the best author that I've ever read, definately amazing!

Twilight is the best book I have read. When my dad would turnoff the light at night I would get the book out and read it trough the moonlight. I wouldnt stop still I was tired and it would usually be 3, time past so fast reading this book.
I cant wait to get the other two books.

Before you read this novel, know that you will not be able to eat, sleep, or go to the bathroom until you have turned the last of the pages. This is an invigorating pages turner that will leave you on the edge of your seat and pull your body, mind, and soul from the real world before you realize it. Consider yourself warned.
After years and years of living with her mom in Sunny Phoenix, Arizona and visiting with her dad during the summers in Rainy Forks, Washington, Isabelle Bella Swan decides that shes tired of it all. In that great decision, she also decides to move in with Chief Swan Charlie, her dad. The first day in Forks is very dull, she and her dad dont really have much to talk about and the gray weather isnt doing much to help. Her first day of school however is nothing like what she expected. She knows to keep to herself since shes the new kid on the block but her classmates have something else coming for her. As she steps into her classes, all heads turn her way but she only turns her head towards one person in particular, Edward Cullen. Edward Cullen, among his brothers and sisters is the most attractive people in school. Unfortunately, for us humans, they keep to themselves and no one else, at least until Bella is painted into the picture. Edward, being the only single person in his family, is immediately attracted to her smell, as dangerous as that is to both Mimi and his extra special family. In no less than a week in Forks, Mimi, thanks to Edward, cheats death a number of times. As they spend more time together, they quickly fall in love.
In this stimulating, charismatic, tantalizing vampire fantasy, Bella and Edward find out that they need more than their love for each other in order to survive in this entangled world of vampires and humans.
I would recommend this book to kids of all ages who love fantasy& vampire fantasy. Also to all girls 14 and up because, as odd as this might sound, it wasnt the story line that hooked me to the book but the irresistible character, Edward Cullen.

This book is totally one of the best books of the decade!!! And it so deserves to be a New York Times bestseller!!!
While I didn't like the beginning much and the endless glorifying descriptions of Edward that much either the middle and end is great.
The book is greatly written and I like the allure of secret hush hush romance.
You will so wanna read the sequels New Moon and Eclipse

If heaven was in a book, this would it. It's a story of a girl (Bella) who goes to live in the small town of Forks, Washington, the rainist place in the U.S. There, she meets Edward Cullen, the most beautiful man alive. But, he has a secret, him and his "family" are vampires.
However, his ways do not revolt nor scare Bella. They only make it harder for her not to love him. But, as soon as they finally get together, another vampire clan tries to tear them apart.
"Twilght" is a book my friends and I have passed along and read atleast ten times. I feel in love with edward and so did everyone else who read it. A truly remarkable book. A gift that keeps on giving!

Bella Swan gets moved to a new town where her father lives called Forks, Washington. Everything seems to be going downhill until she meets him. He goes by the name Edward Cullen, but there is a secret side of him that nobody, but his family, knows about. When Edward and Bella become very close friends she begins to see things about him that other humans don't realize. At some point, Edward finally tells Bella that he is actually a vampire. Bella and Edward then fall in love with each other and that is where everything turns for the worst. Bella wants to become a vampire, so she can live with Edward forever, but Edward won't allow it. He wants the love of his life, to not go through the hardships that he had to go through. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is a magnificent fantasy and romance novel about a human falling in love with a vampire.

Twilight may just be on my list of favorite books.
It was given to me from a friend and I picked it up much later, as I was not too interested in what I was told.
I instantly regreted waiting so long.
Even from the beginning, I found myself in Bella, the protagonist's, eyes. I could picture the strange, beautiful boy, Edward, who's looks are so chilling they could be inhuman. I was entranced by him and read wanting more.
Nothing got old, and when the plot seemed to start being predictable, everything changed and new promising details were added into the mix, but not forgetting past events.
Everything flows, the characters are original and develop beautifully.
I have now read all three books and eagerly await the fourth.

Ok, based on the little guide I see on the right, gere goes my summary:
The book is about a young girl named Isabella Swan who moves away from where she lives with her mother, in Phoenix, and goes all the way north into a little town called Forks, Washington state. In the town she moves back in with her father (parents divorced) and immediately starts school. She meets unlikely friends and starts a very dangerous romance with a "boy" named Edward Cullen, a vampire, one of six living on the outskirts of the town. Isabella soon realizes the risk her love poses and soon gets into more trouble she never expects.
Overall, the book was a refreshing change from all the dry collegiate articles I'm forced to analyze. My niece (a freshman in high school) chose "Twilight" to be her next assignment for an English class. I picked it up with the intent to glance through, and quickly found I could not put it down. It was the setting of the story that captivated me and the character of Bella. I was in Washington state a few years ago, in a small town where no one but my older brother knew my name. I day-dreamed about events much like what was in the book, but I never imagined the details of each physical movement. The author makes a great believer of myths out of me, and I haven't appreciated that in a long time.

Twilight is AMAZING.I have to let you know now before you read the book that it is addicting and obsessive!!!.
Meyers' perception of vampires and werewolves are absolutely different from almost any other vamp books in the business.
Some books that are simillar are the Vampire Kisses series and Secret Vapire by L.J Smith

This book takes place in Forks, washington. Bella moves there from arizona and soon meets Edward, who seems to be alot different than everyone else. She finds out that he is a vampire, and that she is in love with him. But being in love with a vampire isn't an easy thing!
I would recommend this book to everyone. It is one of the best books I have ever read!
