I love it The book was really good it had a good setting and  one of the perfact places for a vampire. before twilight i didn't like reading once i read it i was hooked and now i love reading the book changed my life i can't wait to read a new book now and once i heard everyone talking about twilight i needed to know why it was so popular and i love things about vampires.It had a good romance in it and i don't like much romance i'm more an action person but twilight was good with the romance stephenie meyers keep it were you won't get tired of it. i love how she put the characters and how they act stephenie knew what she was doing when she wrote this book i love how she came up with it in a dream in my opinion dreams are one of the best ideas to come up with most of my idea's come to me in my dreams.Dreams are like another world it gives you another scence of seeing things and that's why i love twilight i have more of an opinion on it and the other books but that's to long i read the twilight series in 3 weeks less than a month. GO TWILIGHT AND STEPHENIE MEYER

Now that the Twilight series has exploded with almost cult-like popularity, its various features and drawbacks have been picked out and away at by various critics. I do agree that the Bella and Edward love story is not perfectly ideal- but I think teens can handle it. Can adore the couple's chemistry while not adhering every aspect to their own life and be able to see it all in a fantasy context. The writing of Twilight is very straightforward, like a teen's diary practically.

This book was absolutely amazing, I loved the use of language, the story,
the threads, the tightly plotted story, everything about it was just perfect,
I had so much fun reading twilight and the sequels new moon, eclipse and
breaking dawn. I read them over and over! Alluring, Mysterious,Heartbreakingly
beautiful is my description of both the book and the characters!

what i want to kno is what in the world is so great about twilight? please tell me that someone? why is the world getting so hyped about vampires. the only good thing twilights done is get former TV watchers reading. and guess what? all they read is about vampites!!! i wonder sometimes if everyone was so hyped up when dracula came out? anyway, im sure u have already heard some of what twilight is about so i guess i dont really need to tell you. and if you're with the "twilight stinks" group like me and feel presured to read that garbage, well dont worry, it'll pass...just lik harry potter. think about it. 2 years ago it was all anyone could talk about, now, the books are getting dusty on the library book shelves if you get my meaning. anyway thats all.

Here I am - finally succumbing to reviewing Twilight. . .

Mrs. Meyer. What. Have. You. Done?  The worlds gone utterly bonkers from the charm of your books - and frankly, Im sick of all the thirteen-year-old girls shrieking that theyve loved Twilight (read as: Edward) since the publication date.

Poppycock!  I remember when I first got Twilight:  I was in books-a-million, attending a sale, and the cover caught my eye.  The back made it seem like a good read (which, dont get me wrong - Twilight was amazing!) and so I bought it.  This was in 2006, I think.  Maybe 2005 (I cant remember - but I know it was before all the hype began).  It only really became popular in the last two years, after Eclipse was released (I know because thats when I settled down and read Twilight - then order New Moon and the newly released Eclipse) and thats when chaos broke lose.

Okay - ranting aside - Twilight is a beautiful novel and well worth the time to read it.  The writing style isnt too grand, but that doesnt really matter.  The plot and the characters are lovely - if you can look past all of the boys acting like weird stalkers around Bella and if you can stomach Edwards fierce protectiveness.

I recommended this book to many - some who hated it and some who loved it.  I suggest that if youre a lover of romance novels with a kiss of paranormal activity, like I am, than pick this up.  That goes without saying, though, that youve probably heard about Twilight till you developed a nasty qualm in the pit of your stomach. . .

But, hey, you chose to read this review, didnt you?

Bella Swan falls in love with Edward Cullen. But, it's not just any teenage fling because Edward is a vampire! His golden eyes and smooth pale skin would be hard for any girl to resist, even when the suspense of not knowing if you'll be alive tomorrow. This book is hands down one of the best books that I have ever read. Anybody who likes romantic books with a twist will fall in love with Stephanie Meyer's Twilight.

An innocent love story between a normal 17 year-old girl and a dreamy 104 year-old vampire. Stephenie Meyer, the author and creator of this brilliant story.

Bella Swan, the new girl who moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father in Forks, Washington. At first she doesnt expect anything exciting to happen, and then she meets Edward Cullen, the mysterious and outsider. Edward and his family have a secret and is determined to find out. To her surprise the Cullens are hiding something, something dangerous, the fact that they are vampires.

Edward tries to distance himself from Bella; their attraction toward each other is very difficult not to. He ricks his life to protect Bellas life when 3 unfriendly vampires come to forks, who want Bellas blond.

Twilight was one of the best books read in a long-time. I couldnt put it down, I just needed to know what will happen.

Wow is all I can say! This book is wonderful!

 It all starts off when Bella Swan moves to forks with her dad Charlie. Let me say the last thing Bella thought that would happen was to fall in love. But that is what happen not only did he fall in love she fell in love with the wrong person or thing should i say?
He's a vampire! But no matter how many times Edward trys to get Bellanot to like her she can't help it. You don't choose who you love!

If I write another review on these ridiculously popular series, I will honestly burn these books out. That was only a joke that had a very deep meaning to it. So I wasn't exactly sure if I was a fan of any related vampiristic urabn/supernatural fantasy books out there, because it's not really the best combination of the two, but it was... well, pretty large, in terms of the pages, which determines the volume of the book. I remember I stepped in the school library and started to look for something new and less historical, so I realized that there were new releases which were displayed on the top shelves of each book case. So I picked each book up to take a glimpse of what the novel is mainly about. When I came across a black cover with hands holding a red apple, the first image that came to my overactive mind was wolves and other creatures. When there is romantic twist in the storyline of any novel, you must atleast try to look through the pages, it's rudimentary and imperative. So finally I finished reading the first novel of the saga in about 2-3 days and I was totally aligned with the description of each major and minor characte. So again, it was very important for me to read the rest of the books. You may come across very slow and repetitive scenes in the book, but that's the way it's structured. Have fun reading them, I know I did.

Twilight, otherwise known as The Latest Cultural Phenomenon.

We all know the basic jist--boy meets girl, boy turns out to be bloodsucking fiend, girl falls in love with boy, boy angst, girl angst, happily ever after. But what's really the deal with everyone's favorite sparkling vampires?

Alright, let's get it out there up front: they sparkle. Vicious, bloodsucking, eternal monsters. Who sparkle. Yes, like disco balls. And figure skaters.

You know what actually happened to Dracula? Neither do I. My guess is that he's allergic to glitter.

The thing is, though, while I was reading Ms. Meyer's literary debut...I enjoyed it. What can I say? I'm a teenage girl, and Edward is the epitine of The Perfect Man. Hawt, undead, brooding, devoted. What more can a girl ask for?

Well, looking back, independence. Perhaps a boyfriend who doesn't watch her sleep ten hours a night. Maybe the ability to walk thre feet without being swooped into a pair of granite, frigid arms? I don't know, though. That just might be me.

Overall, I believe Twilight to be horrendously glorified, but not completely terrible. I guess it's just a matter of what you like--romance readers will eat it up and come back for seconds, but femme fatale femenists will probably come out of it screaming and pickoting all book stores for telling girls its cool to be completley dependent on another human being (or vampire---whatever).

A decent enough debut, but the media coverage is giving Twilight far too much coverage for it's own good.
