Two Wheels follows the story of a young rider moving away from the child seat on the back of his parent’s bike through the stages of riding his very own bike with only two wheels. This is a relatable story for anyone who looks at the big kids riding their bikes and wishes they could zoom along, too. This story would work well with preschool through early elementary readers since this is the age when children are typically learning to ride a bike and can identify with their own experiences. The family, especially the parents, are portrayed as supportive and involved in their child’s progress making this a heartwarming tale of accomplishing a childhood milestone.
