I love the names of the towns, why use something standard when the description works just fine. We get to explore the world of Hipsterville and meet new and exciting characters in this book. Alexander is every vampire loving girls dream, and Raven is super lucky to hang out in the creepy mansion with him.

It was a really nice book, just like the other Vampire Kisses books. Raven, just great, Trevor is actually a nice character, really funny, and Alexander absolutely gorgeous.
Something good to read, to have a good time. Funny and easy to read, a really nice book ;)

Vampire Kisses 2 continues the story of goth girl Raven and her vampire boyfriend Alexander who has left town. Raven decides to hunt him down at the beginning of this book.
She travels to Hipsterville where her aunt lives and ends up meeting the mysterious Jagger, who offers to help her. But is he really who he says he is and why is he so interested in Alexander?

I had some mixed feelings about this book and had to force myself to finish it. The writing seemed very shallow and I felt like nothing in the plot was really exciting or unpredictable. I would say this series is geared toward the younger pre-teen set, and being someone who is out of their teens, it may have just been too "young" for me. For parents who don't want their children reading vampire stories with adult situations and gore, this series would be appropriate.  I would say that the first book was definitely better than this one.

Even though they are incredibly short, Ellen really brings the characters to life. Raven is determined to find her vampire boyfriend, Alexandar, after he left town for 'her own safety'. She believes that he is being foolish, until she finds Alexandar's enemy Jagger. Jagger wants revenge at Raven's cost. Will she find Alexandar in time? Or will she be bonded to the wrong creature of the night for all entirety?

I find that I have the same complaints as before. The novel is entertaning and worth the read, but it falls more under the 'borrow it from your public library' section. Again the writing is just thrown together and the events leap from place to place. Raven contiunes to be witty but she's somehow more annoying this go around.

Kissing Coffins is the second book in the Vampire Kisses series. It is the story of Raven a goth girl who has never felt right in her town of Dullsville until she meets Alexander a teenage vampire. Alexander is the boy of her dreams, he is perfect for her. But when he suddenly leaves town Raven tries to track him down. She follows some clues to Hippersterville where she stays with her aunt, who is coincidentally starring in the play, Dracula. Her next move is to go to the Coffin Club, a very popular hangout spot for Goths. But what happens when Raven meets Jagger, Alexanders evil nemesis.
Kissing Coffins was a quick and fun read! It is an awesome vampire love story with many twists and turns. It was a little slow in the beginning but after I had read about one third of the book it really started to speed up. I found it very entertaining and quite original. It was not quite as good as I expected it to be but it was still a really good read. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to read vampire books. I am very excited about reading the third book in the series called Vampireville.
