Well it took me almost 2 months to find this book at a used book store, when I got it home I was so excited to open it up, and enjoy all the stories each person has to offer in this book! This book is very mesmerizing and touches your heart, it tells the stories of 4 different people,
Mark: Desperate, isolated, he tried to live--until he became convinced he couldn't live, or make it! --- His story is very touching and moving, I cried when I read his story!
Mary: Aching for a sense of her family, for intimacy, she joined a cult-then faced agony of the deprogramming. --- Her story was very interesting, to hear a person explain the passion for something, she didn't even realize at the time she was in a cult.
Millie: lost, lonely, has no one to turn too, so she turns to her teacher to find love from her! --This is a very short story and again very interesting.
Jane: Always dealing with peer pressure from sex and drugs, and tells the compelling story of how she overcomes her experiences from it.
This book is a must read!
Also if you read this review, and if you have ever read, "It's MY candle" By Beatrice M. Sparks, please e-mail me at [email protected], and please tell me what this book is all about!
Thanks
