I think that this book is complex and exciting. It shows real people doing real things. The situations all ring true today. It was never boring or confusing. Sal learsn the truth of her mother's death and how her teacher's sister was connected to it. It's funny at times and very insightful. The romances are a bit cheesy and some loose ends aren't tied up--especially the one with Phoebe's mother's son from a previous relationship. No one knows what happens and it's left open-ended. It's like, let the reader decide. I didn't like that. Overall, it's good.

Walk Two Moons is an awarding winning novel that has two stories in it.

The first, main one, is Sal, who's journeying with her Grandparents to go see her Mother, and all the sites that her Mother probably saw on her little adventure. To entertain her grandparents, Sal tells the story of her friend, Phoeboe, who has a wild imagination and gets into adventures quickly and easily.

The novel is targetted for middle school students, but I think that it's good for any age. It may be a bit predictable for older readers, but nevertheless, this book has great meaning about friendship, family, and life.

This book was very dramatic, what with Phobes mother having a son none ever knew about and running off with him. It was also very hard because of how Salamanca delt with her mothers death. A great story for someone who like a little bit of drama and and adveture!

Walk Two Moons, is basically about a girl who is going on a road trip with her grandparents, but it's really about this girl trying to find her mother, by following the steps she took before she died. In doing this she finds more about her mothers death, but mainly, she finds a bigger piece of herself. I like this book because it is very heart felt and has a strong meaning that will make you cry. I really suggest this book for all ages.

A brilliant book that deserves the awards it won. An adolescent teenager tells her grandparents while on a trip about a friend of hers, a friend who's life mirrors her own. Both of their mothers left them with no reason, and both are searching for someone to belong to. Wacky chacters, clever plot, this book is one every girl should read.
