Like any almost-six-year-old, Jack is full of questions. Why does all the good-for-you food taste bad? Why can't he have a tail? Why doesn't hair hurt when you cut it? From bedtimes to ball games, Jack has a question for everything. Why? Why?

Jack has so many questions! From wondering why there are holes in crackers to why it has to rain and wash away his chalk drawings to why he can't play with his older brother, Jack fills his days asking questions of everyone around him. Sounds like every five year old I know! I would've liked to see some of his questions answered, or had the author show us that asking questions is welcomed, but otherwise, this is another great installment in Richard Torrey's books for kids.
