Your Throne Vol 1. tells the first twelve episodes of the WEBTOON comic in which a noblewoman has to figure out her revenge plan when she awakens in the body of her rival. Lady Madea Solon believes that the spot next to Crown Prince Eros is rightfully hers and is willing to do anything to get this back from Lady Psyche Callista. 

What I Liked: I was drawn to the mystery and darkness on the front cover of this book as this isn’t what you expect from a crown princess. I needed to find out what had happened to make it so that Lady Madea Solon was no longer where she believed she belonged but Lady Psyche was in that spot. As I kept reading there seemed to be a bigger story beneath that included the crown prince. 

I appreciated the way the story of the crown prince was included throughout the book and how we found out the secrets that he has. I’m intrigued by Eros and Helio and can’t wait to learn more about these two characters. The images that accompany the story are fascinating and capture the character’s emotions and personality all at the same time. 

Final Verdict: Your Throne is a great graphic novel for teens ages 13+ who enjoy fantasy or body-swapped stories like Freaky Friday. This book leaves you wanting to know what happens next to all of our characters especially if our crown princess gets her body back or if the crown prince suspects anything.
