Review Detail

Wow, this was amazing. The plot was new, fun, and extremely exciting (although the planets characterized by traits were like Panem had a baby with the factions from Divergent). The Psy stuff was a little confusing, but makes more sense as the story continues. The characters were awesome--well-developed and likable (especially Rhoma--what a fun leading female!). The conflict felt real, the villain is scary, and the resolution was not all sunshine and roses, which I totally respect. The ending set up nicely for book two. It's not often that I can add a book to my favorites shelf without having much to say about it. But when a book is this well composed, all I can say is "read it." Any other words are just fluff.
