The Secret of Sarah Revere, by Ann Rinaldi, was just alright. It started off slow and was pretty much slow until the end of the book. The flashbacks happened so many times that it began to make the book confusing. However, Ann Rinaldi's writing style made the book quite compelling. If there is nothing else to read, you can read this.
