From the creators of GOSSIP GIRL comes a fresh, edgy take on teenage romance. Three interconnected stories explore the different stages of love over the course of one summer on the seashore.
It's summer. It's hot. And it's time to hook up.Cousins Ella, Beth, and Jamie are at their family's beach house, and they're gearing up for the wildest time of their lives. Sassy Ella is majorly crushing on a cute older boy -- who just happens to be her sister's new boyfriend. Meanwhile, practical Beth is surprised when she finds herself falling for her best friend George. And shy, creative Jamie gets her heart broken when her summer love abandons her. Three girls, too many boys, and some seriously stormy romances...it all adds up to one unforgettable summer.

Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
Good Points
I loved that we got to follow these girls on their quest for summer boys! Even though I felt heartbroken at times because of some of the things that happened in the story but I was definitely on the edge of my seat the whole time!

Summer Boys gets you wishing summer was right around the corner. I loved it. My friend and I picked it up and just like that we were addicted. Theres something about it, the way you can relate to every character, that just keeps me re-reading and re-reading.
Its a definite must read!

This was a really good book. I read it straight through. It was good, as teens can relate personally to the main charcters. You really get caught up in the story. It also shares some valueable life lessons in a way.

This book features the three Tuttle girls - Beth, Ella, and Jamie- through their lives and adventures at their family vacation spot in Pebble Beach. Each girl has a different dilema, and their stories unravel.

When I first saw the cover of this book I thought it would be kind of Gossip Girl-esque, but when I started reading it, I was surprised by how realistic the story was. Okay, realistic may be a bit far fetched, but the characters were definitely believable and likeable most of the time. It definitely wasnt a deep book that you think about for long, but as long as you know what to expect, its very entertaining and fun. The book is about the Tuttle family that spends the summer at Pebble Beach in Maine each year. The focus of the story is the female cousins and sisters of the family who are all very close, despite their differences, especially in personality. And of course, as the title suggests, the book also includes the boys that hold an interest to them.

I just read Summer Boys this pass summer...I mean what a great book it was. Sure, it wasn't the best, however it kept me entertained the whole way through and i've been looking for a book like that for weeks. I actually never really found one that i truly like except for the hobbit which started out confusing so i really didn't get the whole thing but whatever. Summer Boys, an addicting book, will make you want to keep reading it because of it's author, hailey abbott. She does a great job with awesome adjectives and similes and metaphors and a bunch of awesome things. I suggest that you read this book!

Ella, Beth and Jamie are cousins and they spend every summer at their families cottage. This summer is no different. The girls couldn't be more different. Basically this story is about the three girl's summer and the three boys they are crushing on. if you like drama and gossip then this is a book for you. it is a quick read and is best enjoyed on the beach.

While it's not written so eloquently it's a good book if you love books with hot hookups and teen books for girls. And I love both kinds of books.
While it's not as good as say Gossip Girl and South Beach it's pretty good.
Read this if you like books like 13 Little Blue Envelopes, the A-list and the such.
That's my review of Summer Boys.

Alright, so I guess the book was okay, but nothing that would stay with me through my life, if fact it was just the opposite. I found it entirely too superficial, and yes, teens do have superficial needs, but we also have true feelings. Basically, it wasn't a book I could ever relate to. Moreover, there's alot of people who liked it, and I'm just going: There something wrong with that picture. Maybe I'm just too picky

In comparison to The Bridesmaid, I can't believe the same author wrote the two books.

But if you enjoy the occasional time waster, go right ahead

This is my favorite book! I've read it like four times and it never gets old! When I saw that there was another book, "Next Summer", I got wicked excited! I love how you can relate to every character. We all have a bit of Ella, Kelsi, Jamie, and Beth in us. This book has been passed to all my friends, and they love it too. It's wicked good and a must read.

HOnestly, I'm not a big fan of reading. The only time i read is if i'm REALLY into a book, and I finished this one, in slightly over a day. It was attention grabbing and always left you wanting to read more. The concepts are realistic and irresistable to any teenager. It is a must read!

I would definetley recommend it to anyeone who read the "sisterhood of the traveling pants" by Ann Brashers.
