I really enjoyed this book, but at times, it drifted off subject and it didn't focus on the main point. It subscured into Evan and Grey's personal lives most of the time and the conclusion is terrible.
You are left thinking "so... what happened?" It does not tell you clearly "this is what happened" instead Plum-Ucci leaves it up to the reader to decifer the conclusion. It is a clever book that definitely makes you think, but it could be more suspense and action filled, as it is VERY slow paced.
Carol Plum-Ucci has definitely done much better in her other book "The Body of Christopher Creed" but this book makes you think more about your life and it changes your mind a lot about what happened to Evan's parents

I got this book oneday at barnes and nobels not knowing anything about the author or the book. i just got it because that back of the book made its sound intersesting.
At first this book was a little hard to get into, but i got so into it, i read chapters 9 to the end in like 3 hours.
this book was not as creepy as i thought. the book had a good twist and some romance
i recommend this book =)

I started reading this book but it wasn't very good. It's about a boy whos parents were supposeably killed by "The She". He was listening to them on the radio when they were dying. Later, when hes older, he wants to find out if thats the real reason while also helping someone he never thought he liked but they actually had something in common. But thats as far as i got so i cant tell you much more. I would not recommend reading this book, but thats just my opinion.
