College student, Eloise Kelly, is researching for a paper she's writing on the Pink Carnation, a spy so elusive that's there's no information of him. But then Eloise hits the jackpot when she finds a Colin Firth and his mother. They have information about the Pink Carnation. A lot of information. This is when the real story starts, a story filled with spies...

Amy is a young girl who's wanted to join the group of spies for her whole life. And she will do anything to be able to do that..... Along the way she falls in love.

This novel is completely intriguing. When I started it I couldn't stop reading it. Amy is an incredibly interesting heroine and the story fascinating!

The Secret History of the Pink Carnation draws the reader in immediately. The story is fast paced and each chapter leaves you wanting more. The book has romance, mystery, and comedy which always makes for a great read. I only wish there were more chapters for Colin and Eloise. With any luck, the sequels will give us readers more Colin and Eloise.

This book is a mesh with all you can cram into its pages. It has passionate love, sadness, joy, and laughter. It is the best pick me up book i have ever read. It makes you feel good. Somehow whatever emotion that the main charachter is expresing, you will feel it too. So, if you put down the book at a passionate love chapter, you will feel that all day long or until you pick up the book and start reading once again.

Eloise is a grad student on a search to discover the identity of the Pink Carnation. From a relative, she comes upon some papers that may help her discover what she's been looking for...

Amy Balcourt, who was sent away from France at an early age is finally going back to her homeland. Her reason for going back is to find The Purple Gentian, the spy who has saved so many lives. Amy wants to join forces with the spy, so, along with her cousin they travel to France. When Amy comes in contact with the Purple Gentian, she falls in love with him, not realizing that she already has met him before, Sir Robert Selwick. But when Amy takes measures in her own hands after Robert refuses her help, the Pink Carnation is created and Amy may have caused a big, deadly problem instead of helping Robert in the biggest mission yet.

The History of the Pink Carnation is my new favorite book. Once I started this, I couldn't put it down. The author went back and forth between Eloise's story and Amy's. There was everything in this book, action, mystery, suspense, romance. I loved this book and would definately recommend it. I can't wait till the next Pink Carnation book.
