this book was very good but it needed a little more exciting opening. i think you should have talked more about what was going on at the party like what were people doing and why did Ross go upstairs. i liked how the police were not letting anyone i to see the house or murder scene.

I am not all that crazy about reading, but this book got me interested by the first page. I have actually started reading other books and i am really starting to enjoy reading. My mom would think i was crazy if i told her this because my little sister and her are always reading and me and my dad would rather watch it on t.v. I dont think she would believe me.(laugh out loud)

This first novel by Tanya Lloyd Kyi will appeal to CSI/Law & Order fans. At 3 a.m., the police come to question Jen Forester. She was at Ian Klassen's party last night, and a man was found beaten to death there. She lies to the police that she didn't see anything, thinking the whole thing would blow over. But weeks later, she gathers clues and thinks she knows who did it. The problem is that everyone knows who did it, but no one wants to tell and get in trouble.
This is a good mystery/suspense book, and anyone who watches crime shows should read it. But I think the book should've been longer and had more details and information about the characters. But, all in all, this is a well-written mystery book.
