Bluestar is weakened by Tigerclaw's betrayal, and now Fireheart is clan deputy, and must fill in the cracks in the clan that Tigerclaw has made. He is now burdened with most of the clan responsibilities as Bluestar starts to crack under pressure. And Fireheart must now deal with his troublesome nephew, Cloudpaw, a new member as Thunderclan. Cloudpaw is disrespectful to the Warrior Code, and he has a big secret that is bound to leak out and cause mayhem for everyone. There is also the problem of the exiled Tigerclaw, who is lurking around and may strike at any time.

The Rising Storm is the fourth book in the amazing warrior series, and this one contains bigger mysteries than ever, shocking truths and the burden of being a leader in a wasting clan. This book is well worth the read, and well may take your breath away. But these books get better and better in the next few, so save some energy for the rest of this marvellous series.

With Bluestar, leader of Thunder Clan, weakened from Tigerclaw's betrayal, most of the responsibilities of leadership now rest on Fireheart, Bluestar's new deputy. As if that wasn't enough, Fireheart's nephew, Cloudpaw, a new member of Thunder Clan is a troublesome apprentice. He does not always follow the warrior code, and has a big secret that is bound to leak out and cause trouble sooner or later.

Unfortunately for Fireheart and Thunder Clan, problems don't stop there. No one is really sure where the exiled Tigerclaw now lurks and when he will strike. Has he made new allies? Will he take revenge?

There are more secrets hidden in the dark, just waiting to be exposed. Bluestar has already lost hope in StarClan and Fireheart is burdened with extra responsibilities. Nature has not been completely kind either--dry weather has loomed over all the cats. With all this stress, how will the clan take it if some of these shocking truths reveal themselves?

Will Fireheart be able to handle all this, with Bluestar so mentally ill? Or will the Thunder Clan be doomed?

Warriors is a fantastic series, and this book will keep fans hooked and wanting more!
