I really enjoyed reading Backwater by Joan Bauer. I felt it was a different type of "girly" book it kept me wanting to read more and more. Ivy Breedlove is trying to fit in a family of lawyers. But, insted of wasting her time she become more like Josephine (her aunt). Ivy is in love with history so she is figuring out her family tree. Will the searching end up in a life of death situation?
