Kats family has just packed up and moved to New England. Her fathers just gotten a job as the new science teacher for a posh private school, but Kat is having a hard time fitting in with the snobby, rich, students. Despite her trials, she manages to make friends with a quite computer geek named Mouse. But when Kats Dad starts getting blackmailed to give everyone As, Kat and Mouse arent about to stand around. Together the duo set off to solve the case, but can they do it before Kats Dad is fired? Overall, an interesting read, although it was pretty short. Teens are sure to relate to the not-fitting-in theme, and the mystery is interesting (although not complicated) as well.
