Smile. Wave. Dominate. Presley loves the pageant world. She knows how to work the crowd and looks gorgeous in an evening gown. But really, she needs the pageant world -- for its scholarships and opportunities. The only thing standing in her way? Her archrival, Megan, who was practically born wearing a crown and sash. Megan may be the nastiest girl on the circuit, but she has one thing that Presley doesn't: connections. And she won't hesitate to use them.

What happens when two girls will stop at nothing -- including scandalous Internet pictures, vicious message board rumors, or "accidentally" ruined hair -- to be crowned the winner? Strap on your stilettos and tuck in those shoulder pads...it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I liked this book a lot. I loved the love hate realationship between Presley and Megan. I really liked Presley devil comments on Megan and her info on Paegents that she gives. I love how you see how they fight abd bicker to try to win and all the backstabbing pranks pulled. I also liked the romance in this book . I would reccomend this book.

A couple of days ago I read Crowned by Julie Linker. I read her other novel Disenchanted Princess and enjoyed it so I had a feeling that I would love Crowned too. And I did.

Presley is a high school beauty pageant star. When the book begins she is preparing for a huge beauty pageant that is only weeks away. With that being stressful enough she finds out that her boyfriend cheated on her with her biggest completion Megan! Presley and Megan begin to try and get revenge on each other and sabotage each other chance of winning. Throughout the book Presley becomes a memorable character as she struggles with friends, school and winning.

I really, really loved this book! In fact I enjoyed this book more than Disenchanted Princess and I did not think that was possible. This fun story kept me reading like crazy until I finished!
