This book was probably the best book I have ever read. I loved the end so much I wished there was another book that exclaims what happens to Mia and Chase next. I don't understand why people put 2 and 3 stars it should be 4 and 5!

The story it's self was pretty good. About half way through the
book, I thought that not much else could happen since they resolved all
the issues, but then, the author threw in some mini twists that kept it
alive and interesting. Sure, the book was predictable, but I liked the
little creative parts the author put in that gave it diversity. The personality
of the character really held my attention. I could relate to Mia with
the whole 'I have a huge crush on the blond popular boy', because what
girl hasn't?, but I don't think I'll ever turn my school into zombies
while trying to make him love me. Anyways, I thought she was witty and
I liked her attitude.

There comes a book every once in a while that you just happen to like, but cant seem to pinpoint the exact details. Zombie Queen of Newbury High is one of those types of books. I just like it okay, plain and simple. What else do you want to know!? Fine, fine, Ill try to squeeze the amazing-ness of this book out of me&

My favorite aspect of this book was definitely the character and character relationship. Mia was such a relatable person. Shes the type of person that everyone knows at one point in their lifetime, the type of person that everyone wants to sign her yearbook. Not Miss Head Cheerleader but the one that always lending out a hand to a fellow student. You just cant help but adore her.

The friendship between Mia and Candice was also an honest one with no hidden daggers waiting to be plunged. After reading so many backstabbed friendships, it was quite refreshing to read this. The teasing tone and the concern they showed one other felt real. It wasnt too overly the top or sugarcoated sweetness.

I also thought that it was fun that Amanda had us believing that the everyone was cured by half the book, I was shell-shocked that it was over that quick, but of course, theres always a surprise. Keeping the readers on their toes is always a plus for me!

Overall: Zombie Queen of Newbury High was a fun and simple read. With small bits of humor mixed in between, this book will entertain the reader for hours.

Mia is the everyday girl.  Not popular, but not disliked. Then the popular jock begins to like her and complicates everything.  When she buys a love potion she has no idea that she turned her entire class into zombie.  Whoops.

If you've ever The Princess Diaries Mia sounds like, well, Mia. The plot is so over done it's not even funny.  But it's cute!  It's well written and the love story is amazingly cute.  It's a quick read that's enjoyable, but not memorable.

I must say that I expected a lot more from this book. It was not as exciting as I thought it would be and it fell sort of flat for me. Mia tries to do a love spell on the cutest boy in school to make sure he stays interested in her. Instead she ends up doing a spell for making people zombies....Blah! There were many characters in this book that annoyed me. I wish I'd gotten this book for free and didn't actually pay full price for it..sooo not worth the trouble.

Mia Everett is happy with her life. She's dating popular football player, Rob, and they are planning on going to prom. Unfortunately, popular girl Samantha thinks she should be going to prom with Rob. Mia's best friend Candice suggests they try casting a love spell on Rob to ensure Rob sticks with Mia- with horrible results. Mia accidentally turned her whole class (teachers included) into zombies! Mia is happy that everyone is giving her food and following her around like a queen, until zombie hunter, Chase, breaks the news- the students are trying to fatten Mia up so they can eat her, as is tradition for the zombie queen! Chase warns Mia that they have to act fast to reverse the curse, and save Mia before it's too late...

This was a well written book, though a bit predictable at times. Mia was a fun main character and the plot was unique. Very exciting at times, I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read something more by this author.

Zombie Queen is more of stress-relief book than an actual in-depth book. Its funny and a very entertaining book especially for a topic about zombies!

What I liked about Zombie Queen of Newbury High was Mia because of her quirky and hilarious personality and the very amusing plot. Mia cracks me up with her OMG-what-should-I-do??!?! personality. Shes a very likeable girl and with her interesting personality, it was easy for me to relate to her. What I liked about her was the fact that the author made her seem just like a typical teenager especially with the way she talked and acted, I could totally imagine her being one of my fellow classmates in high school.

The plot is so entertaining. With a messed up love spell to get Rob, her crush, to ask her to Homecoming, Mia ends up turning her entire class into zombies. A very ingenious plan and utterly hilarious. I also liked the fact that there are four different stages so the readers could understand how the zombie thing worked and it gave a more of a realistic point of view.

The ending was very well put together and definitely brought the story to a close. It was also funny how Amanda used Vitamins as a method in staving off the effects of a zombie which goes to show that vitamins really are good for us as they say they are! Zombie Queen of Newbury High has everything zombies, romance, lots of humor and an overall lovely plot which means that you should go to the library, the bookstore to pick up this nice novel and enjoy!
