Aurielle looked at the woven picture and sighed. So beautiful, with its wide green hills and its dragons flying gracefully around the valley. And yet so menacing, too. It seemed to tell the story of a great battle... But what did it mean?

In the great librarium on the world of Co:pern:ica, an ancient tapestry, guarded by firebirds, is about to have its secrets unravelled-a process which will bring together the ec:centric boy, David, the evil Aunt, Gwyneth, and a dangerous force from the other side of time...

Fire World is the sixth book in the Last Dragon Chronicles. It doesn't follow the ending of Dark Fire but it is about a different universe with different copies of the characters. It is about David and Rosa in the universe of Co:pern:ica. A place where you can imagineer amazing things: a katt, a chair, food. In fact the whole Co:pern:ica was imagineered by a cluster of Fain. A young David, goes to live in a place full of things called books, and beautiful creatures called firebirds: a mix between dragon aura and bird aura.

This book can be slightly confusing at first as you think it would continue on from the ending of Dark Fire but in fact actually tells a completely different story. Other than this, Fireworld is a stunning book that you must read after you have read the previous five books.
