I started reading this book on recommendation from a friend. After I started reading it I just couldn't put it down! It was an AMAZING book. Davida Will Hurwins does a great job tugging at the reader's heartstrings. I felt like I was in the room with the girl, and by the time I finished reading it I was bawling.

It was sort of predictable ultimately you knew what would happen. But, I'm sort of glad, it would have been dumb if she would have done it any other way. I think that Davida Will Hurwins is one of my favorite authors now, I can't wait to read more of her books!

I though the stroy of the two best friends dealing whith cancer was very touching and YES I cried too. This book really hit home for me because of lost family members due to cancer. This book really put cancer into perspective and makes you feel grateful for what you have today. Everybody has dealt with cancer in some form or another so everyone can connect with the story. Overall I thought it was a wonderful book and I recommend it to everyone.

This book was one of the best young-adult books that I have ever read. It really took my attention to what it means to lose a best friend. Samantha is a strong, healthy girl who's life has tipped over because of Juliana, her best friend with cancer and a brain tumor. I cried at the end. IN CLASS!! The book really opened up the subject. And I really enjoyed it!

The book was awesome. The author really made the book come to life. I loved the fact that it involved cancer because it is a very life changing thing. The bond between Jules and Sam was very strong and true. It didn't sound made up like some other books. When ever I had free time I would read. The end was sad but very true to what can happen in real life.

Heartbreaking is the only possible word that comes to my mind when i think of this book. While Sam and Jules have been bestfriends forever, jules suffers cancer, and cancer has't to come inbetween them and reuin it all. I sat on my couch after i finish this and i was crying my eyes out. I dont want to give away too much but this 12 year old 6th grader loved with book. It is approate for people ages 12 and up. I recomend it to all.

I have to admit that i saw the movie first. I saw it first because i din't know it was a book. When i did however read the book. I fell in love with it. It was so sad how jules got that sickness that kept getting worse and worse w/ time. I liked how the book was written in two parts. On was by Jules and the other one by her best friend Sam. Through out the story the author shows how each girl feels about what is happeing. Friendship helps this gils stay together even in the worst situation. After u read this book it makes you appreciate more your best friends.

So i had to pick out a book to read for my book talk in my 8th period class. The last book i pulled off the shelf was this one. I started reading the book right when i got it. I ever read it in the hall way during passing periods and you know people would knock my books down and what not.

I was hooked after alwhile and couldnt stop. I cried and laughed through this whole book and I think I was really intrested in it because it was about friendship, family problems, boys, and cancer. Im not a very healthy person myself and it kinda told me what peeople with worse things than I go through.

The most part I looked at was the friendship and the illness. They made me think alot and I liked that.
