Yet again, Nicholas Sparks has outdone himself. This book simply captivated me. Everything from the characters, to the plot, to the setting.. wow. The story of a strong willed girl and an equally strong willed boy falling in love as she battles a deadly disease sounds horrid, but in reality this novel was the best I'd read in years. Not to mention, the tear-jerker ending and the reasoning behind the title. Oh, I highly recommend the novel to everyone.

What can I say?  I am a sucker for this type of book!  Love.  Love.  Love.  It's a romantic tale of a troubled boy and a well mannered preacher's daughter.  The girl, however, is sick.  Can a boy with virtually no consideration and apathy for anyone but himself, open up his heart to this sick girl and express his love?  It's a beautiful and thought provoking tale and it's Nicholas Sparks at his best.  I recommend this for 13 and up.  Grab some hankies; it's a tear-jerker!

this popular guy falls for the unpopular girl. she tried warning him not to fall for her. he was curious but never asked why. one day, the girl got sick and this worried him. she finally told him that she's really sick and that she has cancer-leukemia. he vowed to her to love her forever until she die. after she died, the guy never loved anybody else because he still loves her after she passed away. what i like about this book is how he still loved her even though she's gone and was still devoted to her. this book became a movie and the illustration was very good. i recommend this every girl out there.

Because this was a popular movie a few years ago, there is no need to enter into the plot. Basically, a shy girl and a popular boy begin to work together to create an everlasting love.

For the most part, this book was sweet and romantic. Yet, at other parts, I was bored, and felt like I knew where it was going. Still, Sparks manages to capture the two characters very well, and depicts a love that spans over time.

The movie didn't make me cry, but the book did! I guess maybe because it's told in first person view, so the story becomes more real. The emotion is there, I could feel Landon's devastation when he learnt Jmaie's dying.

Nicholas Sparks uses simple words/sentences, making the story sweet=)

Alright, well as most people know, A Walk to Remember is eventually a sad book. I really liked it, but unfortunately, I already knew the ending of the book because my friends were discussing the movie. I loved the book so much and it was really sweet, but I thought it wouldve been better if it was described more in detail or if i hadnt known what was to come. I wouldve liked to see more of an interaction with her father, however, because he is all the father now has left and it would have made a sad impression.

A Walk to Remember is a touching story of a boy named Landon, who turns into a man when he meets Jamie. Landon learns that love is hard and life isn't always fair. The book is very good, but somehow I think the movie tells the story better for teens. If you like The Notebook, also by Nicholas Sparks, then you will love A Walk to Remember. Pretty much if you love, love then you'll enjoy this book.
