After failing her Sat's, Samantha decides to better her self, and join the world politics. She holds a bet with an old boyfriend that she can be nice throughout the running. This is incredibly hard for Sam. During her journey she learns a lot about herself, and the people around her. And that looks are not everything.
You have heard this description before many of times, and this is no different from the 20 other books of its kind. There are some fun moments and some laugh out loud moments, but nothing really special.

Samantha is a high school cheerleader with a very low SAT score. She decides to run for student body president after hearing that colleges look for leadership on applications. Samantha faces the typical teenage drama-breaking up with a boyfriend, losing her date to prom, and liking a boy who likes someone else. She makes a bet with Logan who thinks that she won't be able to insult anyone for two weeks. Through the bet with Logan, she learns a lot about herself and the what the people around her think of her.

This is a really cute story, but not something that really impressed me. It reminded me of most of the "teenage" movies (She's all That, etc) and had a very predictable ending. Fun and easy to read.

This book is certainly a good book,it shows to give people a second chance (like the surprising ending when she and Logan become more than just friends), but it's not the best work i've seen from Janette Rallison. She is one of my most favorite authors, she writes books that relate to the hard teenage years that all girls go through, either if it's about friendship feuds over crushes (i.e.: Life, Love and the Pursuit of Free Throws) or dreams of stardom (i.e.: Fame,Glory and other things in my to-do list), but I don't really think this book is superb.
