Meet Dom. She's you're typical 17 year old high school senior who is experiencing the joy of a boyfriend (and everything that comes with) for the first time. As a shy, scholarly girl, Dom is attracted to the equally shy Wes, as school track star and seemingly sweet guy.

Eventually, the two coax each other out of their shell and begin to experience the passion, connection, devotion, and emotion that come with first love. Things get heavy rather quickly, and sooner than the couple knows, college has approached and they are apart for the first time.

Immediately after the separation, things take a drastic toll on the relationship. Dom and Wes find things strained and unusual, which leads them to question everything they knew - or felt they knew - about each other.

This novel is a candid, somewhat brutal depiction of a girls first sexual discovery, and the heartache that can be associated with the experience. Though it discusses rather touchy topics, the novel is honest, serious, humorous, and perfect for curious teens all over.

The story is a about a girl who is rathey nerdy and wants to become a doctor. She has never had and encounters with love. Her best friend, on the other hand, has gone out with almost evry guy in town. She has never sincerely like them though.

This is great read. I felt like i knew the characters and started to root of them, hoping they do what is right. It is a little, shall I say, descriptive. Other than that it was a fun book.

this is a book about the love life of high school senior Dominique. Through out her 17years of life, she had never really had a "real" boyfriend or a productive lovelive. She has yet to frech a guy and unlike everyother girl in her senior class, she's never done "it." It doesn't bother her much since she's been able to keep up with her grades and do so well that she might actually get a shot of going to the college of her dreams, so life for her is going pretty well...until she meets wes--a blue eyed hunk from the highschool her best friend amy goes to. At first, they're just friends and the email and IM each other constantly, then, it all changes. after Dominiquea and Wes share all their firsts together, everything goes downhill from there. That's when Dominique finds out what it really is like to have loved someone so much.

This is a really good book, but i would recommend it to people 17+ or people who have already had a Sex ED class. This is because, this book is like Sex 101. Despite all it's sexual content, this was an amazing book, considering it was the author's first.

this book i thought was very good. the story line was like must but there wasd something about it that made me want to keep reading. I was sad about the ending but i tliked that i felt some what reasured about Dominique's future. The writing style was also to my liking, the author had a way of putting words on paper that made me keep turning pages, and i'm glad that i did because anatomy of a boyfriend was a very enjoyable read.

i´m a fifteen year old girl who ejoys reading stories for young adults these one was definetly one of my favorites .
i enjoyed so much how she captures dominique and her feelings the way the book indirectly helped you clear out tons of questions about life, how you should manage boyfriend situations and even how to deal with big firsts with out freaking out .
shows you real teen situations to relate to and solutions by a common age character makes you feel comprehend if you ever had a break up or liked someone quite as bad .!!!
