What would you do if you couldn't find your mother? Would you look everywhere? In P.D. Eastman's adorable classic picture book, Are You My Mother, Baby Bird does just that.

Baby Bird emerges from his shell expecting to see his mother's face, but she is nowhere to be found. He doesn't know she has flown off to find a fat, juicy worm for his first official breakfast, and he leaves the nest in search of her.

He searches and searches, fearlessly greeting cats, dogs, chickens--and yes, even an old abandoned car, with the unforgettable and oh-so-cuddly words, "Are you my mother???"

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of this beloved children's classic picture book, and 50-year old Baby Bird is still asking strangers that same question: "Are you my mother?"

Eastman was the protoge' of world-famous children's writer, Dr. Seuss, and penned several other children's books, including, Go, Dog, Go.

Add this 50th Anniversary Party Edition to your child's library, and help Baby Bird find his mother at last.
