Paige thinks her life is normal, her dad died when she was 4 years old and her mom is a travel nurse who isn't around much. She thinks nobody would love her life other people love their children and partners, the only exception her friends, Carrie, Tree (who's name is Jack but everyone calls him Tree because he's so tall), and Matt. Her life changes dramatically when she meet Nathan, a hot and mysterious guy who help her when she passed out on a club. She is drawn to him and feels connected to him, a "magnetic energy" pulling them together. Nathan is the key to unlocked a secret of her life, she has premonitions. But, there is to it much more. Evil is seeking her. Nathan and Paige will do anything to stop it. In other for that she need to decide if she becomes immortal or stays mortal and die.
Beyond the eyes was a pleasured read, I enjoyed it so much. It's beyond paranormal. So well written, it's a myth come true. This fast-paced, engaging read is full of surprises, mystery, suspense, friendship, love, desire, drama, action, and romance( definitely romance).
It made me laugh.
"I ate some Mexican food... so, if it starts to smell like boiled eggs over here, you'll know why"

It made me cry.
"Mom!.. Mom!... This isn't funny" "I don't want to hear it. She's fine." "MOOOOOOM!" " Paige.Baby, please. She's gone."

It made me hold my hands over my heart.
I mean, we’d just met and the whole love-at-first-sight thing seemed kind of silly to me”
"I love you." “Then it will be for eternity.”

I love it. Beyond the Eyes was a welcome surprise, so glad I download it. Can't wait to read the next book. "Dark Spirits, bring it on." 5 Stars
