Its funny that when I think back to this book (which I read during a hurricane my senior year of high school), the only thing I remember is that one scene when Edward can hear Renesme's thoughts while she is still in the womb. That was one of my favorite parts because it actually has meaning and substance. The rest was just a huge growing climax that led up to not a damn thing. I was disappointed, although my expectations went out the window after I finished Eclipse. But Jacob will always be my favorite. He is the only reason I continued to read this series!

After reading all of her books in this saga, I have concluded Meyer should have stopped after Twilight. I really liked Twilight and it did in fact leave me wanting to know more, however I didn't like where the story went after that. I hated Bella's whining and I could never quite accept the whole werewolf theory. I guess I wanted the happily ever after with Bella and Edward, but of course Meyer had to spice things up by adding Jacob. As far as young adult books go, then this is a good series, but I found the whole thing to be over-rated

I found Breaking Dawn was really strange. Actually the Twilight series was strange in general. Bella being the narrarator definitly wasnt the best choice. At first she hates blood and then all of a sudden she wants to be a vampire? In Breaking Dawn it is obvious that things are coming to a close as Bella finally gets her wish. Throughout the book there was this big anticipation for a battle but then it ended without the battle. I think it would have been much better if there was a battle and things didnt go so quickly.

I have to say that I had extremely hight expectations and unfortunately it didn't live up to them. The book was very predictable and seriously who writes a book and prepares the reader for a fight scene but never gives them a fight scene? It's frustrating. However i did enjoy the first hundered or so pages but I didn't enjoy Jacob's point of view. I did however like the dumb blonde jokes. Which is a compliment because I am blonde.

this book didn't make me very happy although all of the characters seemed overjoyed. i think it's the idea that in the end everyone got what they wanted. with most scenes being very descriptive and raw it was very jaw-dropping to think that other young kids are reading this stuff. although descreet, the book is way too cheesy. the fact that everyone got a happy ending begs me to quesiton if that happens in real life. the book was alright in other ways, but honestly i think i kept on reading for closure more than entertainment.

I have read the entire Twilight series. Twilight and New Moon are my favorites, Eclipse is okay, but in my opinion, Breaking Dawn is a bit of a letdown. In Breaking Dawn, Bella and Edward get married, go on a honeymoon, and Bella gets pregnant. I think that the book focuses too much on the vampire baby. The entire book is about it!
The whole book is about the abnormalities of the baby, and how the Cullens must protect it.
