BUNNIES IN A SLEIGH is a cute, rhyming picture book. The bunnies are back, and this time they are helping Santa to deliver presents and fixing things when they go awry on this chaotic Christmas journey.

What I loved: The illustrations are fantastic with lots of color and detail on every page. The bunnies are getting into some minor trouble in this book (mostly helping), and these create some cute and comical images. The rhyming text is a lot of fun to read aloud, and the repeating refrains add to the fun. The pages turn relatively quickly and the story concludes happily, making this a fun pick for a Christmas season read.

What left me wanting more: Some of the phrasing was a bit awkward in this one, not fully matching the syllable pattern of other phrases, which makes for some places to verbally stumble. For fans of the earlier books, this one also does not quite carry the same level of mischief and comedy as other books in the series.
