When a baker named Miriam has her first child, she's at a loss as to how to get her newborn to stop crying. Her and her husband try everything. Eventually, they find the cure, and it seemed the answer was right in front of them the entire time.

Cinnamon Baby is an adorable picture book. I loved the quirky and whimsical illustrations, and it made my mouth water from the descriptions of all the different kinds of breads Miriam bakes in her bakery.

This book would be great for toddlers who may have a new little brother or sister at home. The search for a way to soothe the baby would be a relatable one, for kids and adults.

I adored Cinnamon Baby. It's a gem of a picture book, and I can't wait to see more from Winstanley and Nadeau.
