Concrete: From the Ground Up was an interesting and fun look at how concrete works.
I loved, not only the history of how concrete was made, but where and how it was used. The text is written in a well - laid out manner, making it easy to grasp and understand.
The illustrations are fun and interactive with the story, with thought bubbles often present to add some humorous touches.
While this is aimed for ages 7-10, my five year old enjoyed reading this with me and had no real issues understanding the terminology.
This was a great addition to my homeschool library!
