Crimson Twill Witch in the Spotlight is the third book in a chapter book series about a very creative young witch. In this book, we watch her take her lessons now with a full-length wand. While taking the wand lessons, she finds out a famous young witch, Miserabella Portentia, is also taking wand lessons. Miserabella is fawned over by all of Crimson Twill's friends, and Crimson thinks if she does her magic like Miserabella, everything will come out ideally. Crimson Twill is a unique witch, and this book is the perfect one to share with young girls who, at this age, don’t want to stand out. They want to be calm and popular and like everyone else. But Crimson Twill soon realizes her magic is not like anyone else. No one's magic is the same, and we each need to step out in our spotlight and shine our wonderful traits. I loved the black and white illustrations in this chapter book; each chapter is a nice length to encourage chapter book readers and will delight those who still enjoy having some illustrations in their books.
